Camp Alphie

What makes Camp Alphie special is not its activities, or its location - though High Plains Retreat Center is a beautiful place in the summer; no, what makes it special is its dedication to care for kids who might not have time to experience everything they ever wanted to. Our dedication to providing the experiences and creating memories for these kids is unmatched, and our focus is on safe, healthy, good old fun!

Camp Alphie is a completely non-profit organization that relies on donations and wonderful volunteer camp directors and counselors to run smoothly year after year, for over 30 years. On-site oncology nurses and doctors help monitor the health of the children while they forget about their worries and romp with other kids their age, from ages 7-14.

Kids' Camp and Parents' Camp (for parents of kids attending the kids' camp only) are free of charge. All these fun activities for six days, with extra care and attention, for free?! Yep! Just fill out the necessary forms, and Alphie the courageous lion will welcome you with open arms and paws when you come to experience the joys of our camp!
